Effect of shape of concrete sleepers for mitigating of track buckling

Track thermal buckling is one of the primary safety issues continuously welded rail tracks. The lateral track resistance main resisting force against buckling, which mainly provided through interaction sleepers in ballast material. In this sense, researchers have focused on determining various types material tie push tests; yet implications these results temperature not been fully addressed. aim paper to fulfill gap by analyzing performance three concrete temperature: B70, winged and frictional sleepers. It concluded that for tight curve radius 100 m, only can resist if safe 40 °C considered track. For same temperature, conventional B70 be curves with larger than 1200 m.
